Through the years, the Lehman football team has had its ups and downs.

The Lehman Lions football team is working to improve its play, win more games and eventually win another championship title.

Victorious games

The team has had winning seasons in the past. In  2016, for example, they won seven games in one season. Last year, however, proved to be a challenge. The boys practiced after school every day and put in the effort. Even so, they lost all their games. This year, the team is doing better: As of Oct. 16, the team has improved its record to two wins and two losses and is hoping to get more  wins before the season ends.

Opinions for better future

The team’s coach, Joseph Houghton has coached football for 21 years and started coaching Lehman’s team four years ago. He’s looking forward to setting a new goal for the team: “Everyone bringing a positive mindset, positive energy, and a consistent work ethic to practice every single day. That is how good teams become great teams ”
