It is that time of year when students sign up for after-school clubs to meet most any interest. Which ones will you choose?
Gaming Club: meets on Wednesdays with Joseph Shin and Thursdays with Monique Paes in Room 455 from 2:45-4:30 p.m. This club is for all you gamers, who love gaming. You can join them anytime after school for some fun.
Pickleball club: located behind Tennis court/Gym/Cafeteria with Adam Schwenzfire on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:45-4:30 p. If you love a good workout, then try pickleball. It will help boost your running skills and duration.
Math Tutor: Nicole Cannavino and Rich Himed on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Room 438 from 2:45-4:40 p.m. If you’re looking for extra help to pass your mid-terms and Regents then this club is just for you because they cover any math subject.
Student Council: Concepcion Pena, Ashley Rodriquez on Thursdays in Room 444 after school. If you want to help contribute to the school and help with events, join the student council.
All*Stars after-school club: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:40-4:45 p.m in Room 453 with Andrea Bentaligio. If you want to debate sports. watch highlights and support Lehman teams then this club is for you.
BAPS Dance: Brown Takeiyah in Room 446 from 2:45-4pm every Wednesday. Think you can dance? Then join Ms. Brown in her dancing club to show off your moves.
Lego Club: Wednesdays from 2:45-4 p.m with Charley Ruperto in Room 432. Love to play with LEGO bricks? Then this club, a combination of building with Lego bricks and watching Lego movies, is for you.
Badminton Club: Wednesdays from 2:40-4 p.m. in the gym with Ms. Rodriguez. See her in room 444 for permission slips. Badminton, a sport where you hit birdies up and over the net, builds up your heart rate and keeps you active.
Build-On: Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays from 2:45-4 p.m. in room 451 with Melanie Valdez. Thursdays- Kips Bay located in Throggs Neck. Wednesdays- Pen pal program in room 451. This club lets you participate in activities where you learn how to help the community and create crafts.
Yearbook Club: Every Tuesday in Room 448 at 2:45 p.m. Take photos, write captions and design pages for the Senior Yearbook. See Michelle Brummer or Evelyn Mendez for more info.
