On Spirit Day, students and teachers turned an ordinary Friday into a fun day filled with holiday spirit. Many students dressed in comfortable pajamas on Dec. 12.  Others dressed in outfits with winter and holidays themes

“I had a lot of fun as I got to match pajamas with my friend, Myess (Hammouri),’’ said Freshman Zoe Reyes. “And a lot of other students bought holiday-themed items like Santa hats,,which just made a lot of jokes for me and my friends in return.’’

Zoe wished that the theme suggestions had been more clearly announced as not everyone knew what they could wear.

Adding to the festive mood, teachers Concepcion Pena and Ashley dressed up as snowmen in inflated costumes.

The Student Council will be planning more spirit days based on different holidays throughout the year.
