Classmates selected Khaled Ali as the artist of the month for June. His latest work shows an eye with the Palestinian flag. 

What inspired you to create your latest artwork?
[While I] was doing this task, the memories of the Palestine war and the Yemen war just came to my mind.
How does creating art make you feel?
Creating art just takes my mind off of stuff.
Who are you favorite artists?
My favorite artist is [Leonardo] da Vinci.
When it comes to art, what is your preferred tool?
My preferred tool is a paintbrush.

Did you learn how to draw or did you always know how?
I always knew how ever since I was a kid.
What would you say is your general skill range?
The best, 10/10.
What is something you see other artists do that you dislike?
I dislike their backgrounds.
Are you considering pursuing art as a career or would you prefer doing it as a hobby?
I would just be doing it as a hobby, just for fun.
What piece of art that you’ve done do you like the most? What is its message?
The Palestine and Yemen artwork. Its basically saying free Palestine and free Yemen; they’ve been going to war for a long time.
What’s your favorite type of art style?
My favorite type of art style is painting because I like the brush and playing with paint.
What does your drawings or artwork mean to you and to others?
They hold beautiful meanings and beautiful looks on the kids in Palestine and Yemen.
