What’s Gael Thinking?

The last couple of classes we’ve had in art have been about creating a self-portrait inspired by the artist, Jean-Michel Basquiat. The fire in my head is my feelings of perseverance, devotion, enthusiasm and passion. The fire in my head represents how much passion I have for the work I do and my devotion to doing good in school and getting up every morning to go to school on time no matter how tired I am. The lightbulb in my head is to shine light on my dark and lost mind in order to show what goes through my head. The numbers 999 represent a rapper that passed away whom I looked up to when I was younger and whose music helped me to keep going so he is now an important part of me as I become older. The word “college?” is to show how I am unclear and deciding whether I want to go to college or not and if I do decide to go to what college I want to go
