Lonely Comfort

In art, we have been doing pieces inspired by Jean-Michel Basquiat.

I used symbols of what I see as comfort when I’m alone, such as sitting in the rain or playing in the rain puddles. The meaning of my art piece is supposed to represent the perspective of being either sad or happy depending on what you do. A personal part of my art piece is the date I added meaning a depressing day for me. I’m satisfied with my art piece, the colors I chose, and the way I decided to collage the drawings together.
