Mr. Ollivierre loved teaching.

Mr Ollivierre, the best, most genuine person, died in his sleep from cardiac arrest on March 30. Known as Mr. O, he  started with an interest in music and journalism and thanks to  inspiration from his mother, he became a teacher.

This  was his 4th year teaching at Bronx River High School. He  had 3 children: 2 daughters and a son. He loved everyone as his  own and made everyone feel like they were never left out and that’s what made him special

Mr Fucheck, the school principal, said, “Mr. O inspired me every morning when he always had a big smile and  a warm greeting. He always said, “Have a great day big man” and that made my day.”

Ms. Santana the 11th grade guidance counselor, also had a message to Mr O: “I will always remember you. As you always said to me all the time, “We are the mama bear and papa bear for our advisory boys.’’
