A snowy forecast has put the school’s annual student recognition dinner on hold. The school had originally planned to recognize its top-performing students on Feb. 11 but the the event has been postponed due to the snowstorm expected to impact the area. School administrators are working on setting a new date to ensure that all honorees and their families can safely attend and fully enjoy the celebration.
During the annual Student Recognition Dinner, students who have achieved honor roll, high honor roll, and perfect attendance will be recognized in the presence of their families and school staff.
Assistant Principal Tené Kelly highlighted the significance of the event, saying, “We want an opportunity for families to celebrate student success with us in school.” She also described it as “one of our favorite parent events of the year.”
