Teachers and students are about to come up with spooky activities for Halloween. There will be activities like trick or treating and eating treats. People also will be donning costumes.
Halloween is celebrated in many countries around the world on October 31. This tradition originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain. This is a holiday to ward off spirits. On this day and or night people dress up in costumes and go around their neighborhood.
“I am excited for candies,” said Malak El Amri, a freshman. “I will be dressed up like a witch. I think, Bronx River should arrange competitions like play for candies,” she added.
Jose Figueroa, a junior says, “I will be dressed up as my favorite character. He added, “I will trick or treat with my family.”
Sabrina Alkayfee, a chemistry teacher, is excited for Halloween. We are gonna be watching scary movies in my advisory class.,’’ she said.
“Halloween is my all time favorite,” said Kandee Brummer, a career exploration teacher. “I’m excited for the students’ spooky costumes. I planned movies for my advisory class.
