Q: What kind of teacher do you want to be at Bronx River?
A: “I want to be the kind of teacher that convinces her students they can do anything”
Q: What kind of student were you?
A:“I was a big nerd. I did all of the academic clubs, took all of my AP classes. If you need examples of that, National Honors Society, Math, Science, and even English. I founded my school’s chapter of the Future Teachers of America club.”
Q: What was your favorite subject at school?
A:“Biology, there’s always questions to be answered.”
Q: Do you have any hobbies or ways to spend your free time? A:“I enjoy reading and swimming, though I haven’t swam since COVID.”
Q: What education did you get, and what schools did you go to?
A:“I graduated from Manhattan College last May.”
Q: Do you have any interesting facts about yourself?
A:“I grew up in Italy and moved to New York in 2020.”
Q: Where is your favorite place?
A:“My bed.”
Q: What books, shows or movies do you like?
A:“My favorite book is “The Miraculous Adventures of Edward Tulane.” My favorite movie right now is “The Black Cauldron”. My Current favorite TV show is “Bones.”
Q: If you weren’t a teacher, what do you think you would have become?
A:“Nothing. There was never a Plan B. Being a teacher has been my dream job since the second grade.”
Q: What made you want to be a teacher?
A:“My little brother has always struggled with school and seeing him struggle without any support from his teachers made me feel terrible. He is my inspiration for everything I do and everything I hope to become.”
