As the months progress, students are coming closer to Regents month in June. Many teachers offer after-school hours to help prepare for these Regents exams.
- Concepcion Pena, the English teacher for juniors, tutors students on Wednesdays from
2:40-4 p.m. in room 444. - Anna Marie Jack, the Earth Science teacher, offers tutoring after school on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2:45-3:45 p.m. in room 432. The Earth Science Regents will be held on June 20 at 9:15 a.m.
- Stephanie DeCicco, the Global History teacher provides tutoring on Tuesdays from 2:35 to 4:35 p.m. in room 456. The Global History Regents will be on June 18 at 1:15 p.m.
- Dennis Lucid and Deborah Porterfield, the U.S. History teachers, provide support from 2:35 to 3:45 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
- Richie Himed, the Geometry teacher, provides students with tutoring almost every day, excluding Mondays. Tuesday to Friday mornings, (1st-period advisory) students can come with the permission of their advisor or gym teacher. Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from 2:45-3:45, students come to room 438 for tutoring sessions. The Geometry Regents will be on June 21 at 9:15 a.m.
- Sabrina Alkayfee, the chemistry teacher and Charley Ruperto, teaching all types of science, help prep students for the Regents on Thursdays from 2:45 to 4 p.m. after school. The Chemistry Regents will take place on June 20 at 1:15 p.m. while the Living Environment Regents will be on June 14 at 1:15 p.m.
