Just the other week I was stuck at Castle Hill Ave around 7:30am, waiting about 15 minutes for an uptown train – during morning rush no less! In the time I spent waiting for the train, I could have walked to campus from Castle Hill.
It’s hard to account for incidents like debris or people on the tracks, but I always make it a point to check the MTA website for planned service changes before I travel. This definitely helps to mitigate some of the frustration around commuting.
