Isaiah Jenkins, a senior, shares his views on playing basketball for the Lehman Lions.

How do you feel about being on the basketball team?
I feel like it’s a lot of hard work and dedication and it also takes discipline.

How has it been working together as a team?
It was definitely difficult in the beginning but as time goes on the communication improves and we built more of a connection.

What do you think you guys can do better?
As a team, we could put in more effort. We could also build more chemistry and understand each other’s play style to become the dominant team.

What is your favorite part of playing basketball?
I would say it’s definitely the rush you get from winning.

Would you want to be on any other team if you weren’t on the basketball team?
Nah, the team is like my family, and I just can’t see myself on any other team.

How long have you been playing basketball in general?
I’ve been playing since I was a kid. I grew up playing basketball, and I’m gonna continue playing it.
