Tishawa Boothe is the new Forensics teacher. She shares her insights below.
What was your favorite subject in school? Why?
My favorite subjects were science and math. I didn’t like reading English novels because they were boring. I wasn’t a big history fan either.
What kind of student were you in high school?
I was a good one and I had all my work done on time. I was studious but I was still a normal teen girl with an attitude.
Why did you decide to become a teacher? Why did you pick BRHS?
I wanted to give back to my community and it gave me the opportunity to be a present mom for my daughter. BRHS picked me.
Where did you go to college?
I went to Mercy college for my undergrad, and I went to the Relay Graduate School Of Education.
What do you like to do for fun?
I like to travel, try different cuisines, read a lot; I like Netflix, and I like going out with my daughter and friends.
Fun/interesting fact about you:
I rode the Kingda Ka 6 times in one day.
What would you like your students to know about you?
I’m a human being; I’m compassionate but at the same time I’m stern and before being a teacher I’m a person.
