Bronx River showcases student art

Christopher Montanez

The second annual art show gives students, parents and staff a chance to view and buy student art.

For the second year in a row, Bronx River High School will be having an art walk to show off the amazing talents of the Bronx River artists.  See something you like? The art is also for sale: The funds that are collected from this art walk will be used for the class of 2024.

Art  teacher Aimee Cavazzi explained why she started the tradition. “I just wanted the school to know the talents of the students,” she said. “We are opening up to other schools and  families. We are also selling bracelets, t-shirts, bags and earrings.”

The Art Walk will run from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. on May 31. Baked goods and drinks will also be for sale. Cash app and Venmo accepted.
